Three and a half hours later I did not fix my phone,
tomorrow I will try before I head off to Adelaide. Getting home after all that strenuous work I began to make
dinner, which was veggie paddies that mom always makes. They turned out really well and they
were so filling and big Sharon and I could only eat one each.
A quick clean up of the dinner dishes and we were off to
feed the possums that live in a sinkhole.
By the time we got there it was really dark… good thing I stole Noah’s
headlamp before I left! As soon as
we got to the bottom of the steps into the sinkhole a common brush-tail possum
met us for his dinner; which consisted of carrots and bread. It has huge eyes and a fat tummy,
probably from all the bread. We
saw at least a dozen that night! I
wanted to take each one home with me.
For dessert after we got home Sharon and I make pancakes
with walnuts, banana, syrup and vanilla ice cream on top. The pancake mix came from a milk jug
that you fill up with water and then shake vigorously! It was so much fun and really easy to
do. I think we should have them in
Canada.
Hahaha...I remember the possums getting into our van when we were there...they ate all our bread. We could hear them all night crawling all over the outside of the van.
