Last Day in Mount Gambier :(

Haven’t done much this morning except for some laundry and eating of food.  I am just sitting outside in my underwear hoping to get a tan… I can’t see any difference in my skin tone at the moment.  At 11 o’ clock Janet is coming to pick me up to go see a movie about the volcanic history of Mount Gambier!  I can’t wait for it because I absolutely love documentaries about earth and anything that is on it.  Tomorrow I leave for Adelaide; I will be spending one night there before I go to Kangaroo Island.  It is a bit daunting to think about because it will be the start of my trip where I will have to learn to make friends.  Not that I have any problems with such a task but I am still a bit nervous.

The movie was good, I might have dosed off at one point because I was a little tired but Janet did as well.  I learned that the Blue Lake was created through a series of violent explosions over many years.  I am not going to get into to much detail about it but it was pretty cool.

Now I have been sitting in the library for the past 2 and a bit hours trying to get my iPhone restored so I can use a new SIM card… its not going well.  The Wi-Fi refuses to work for anyone who has an Apple product, just my luck I would say.  I had to resort to finding a new source of Wi-Fi outside in another building.  I was on the near verge of crying it was becoming so frustrating, now its working and hopefully the SIM card will also work once my phone is done.

Janet might take me for a tour of a cave sometime today if I'm not much longer or she'll just drive me straight home so I can start working on dinner... I'm making homemade veggie paddies.  A delicious recipe from home in a foreign country.
