Wedding!

Today Pranav is taking me to a place called the Fort; it is a very old structure where the military used to stay.  We left very late in the day for some reason.  It was hot today but it was lots of fun walking around the structures.  Pranav was being a little butthead to any guy that looked at me or glanced.  When we walked up some steps he put his arm out to block two guys, almost like creating a barricade so no one could touch me, I asked why and he said cause he wanted to make the guys feel bad.  He is such a goof.  He told me a story about how the soldiers strung themselves to giant lizards that helped them climb the wall… I never know what to believe when he tells me things.

Military fort.

Not very busy outside at the moment...

Walked the whole perimeter

Such a goof!

We jumped back in the car and headed to a south Indian place for lunch.  When we got there it was so full there was no way we would get a table, so we headed home for lunch instead.  When we got home there was absolutely no food made so Pranav and I ordered Thai food instead.  The food came and Pranav told me some more BS about how you are suppose to eat it… I am never going to believe anything he says anymore.  After I finished eating I needed to take a nap… I had a killer headache that started on our way home.  I flopped onto my bed, turned my music on and fell asleep.

Karuna came into my room to wake me so I had time to get ready for the wedding tonight, I am so excited to put on my whole outfit that I have planned.  I get to wear my baggy white pants, yellow and white dress with the gorgeous necklace and earrings that Karuna bought for me.  I went upstairs to show her my lovely new outfit, to add onto it she gave me a bindi, scarf and fabulous white shoes that I think I’ll wear with everything.  Pranav and Sunil will not be accompanying us to this function… it is girls only.

Yay! I get to go to a wedding!

So pretty!!!

My other mother <3

Pranav, Karuna and I loaded into the car and headed off to the wedding.  I was so excited to get there, I did not know what to expect.

We walked through metal detectors and passed security, it is like this at every busy place you go.  We met some friends and then turned the corner… long orange and white strings of flowers decorated the entrance and inside you could hear loud music playing.  Everyone inside was dressed so colorfully, I have never seen so many bright colors in one place; a rainbow doesn’t even describe how many colors I saw.  I was introduced to all the friends at the wedding and watched the mother of the bride dance with her friends on stage.  There was lots of music and dancing, I loved all of it and wished I could have seen the actual wedding.  We didn’t stay for long at the wedding and after Karuna’s friend got henna done on her hand we got picked up by Pranav and headed to a flee market.

Here we go...

Colors!

Flee markets here and much different from the ones at home, here they sell nice things and it is more like a market than a flee market.  Our flee market back at home has everyone’s old things that they have no further use for.  I enjoyed this market very much.  I got Jacob a tie and some rose incense that smelled divine.

Off to a restaurant for dinner we all went.  I got veggie lasagna and shared a caesar salad with Karuna.  Pranav and I kicked each other under the table the whole night and when his friend Neil showed up we started kicking him as well.  We would all start laughing but no one had any idea what about… sneaky sneaky.  After we had finished dinner, us children went for a drive, we were suppose to head to a club but no one was there so we just ended up driving around for a while and said hi to some friends.

Finally we got home and collapsed in the TV room or at least I did.  I tried to stay awake but the couch was telling me to sleep, so finally after Pranav took pictures of me sleeping he woke me up and I went to bed.  I was so tired I changed into my sweatpants and that was that.
