Last Day in Sydney

I slept till 10, which is very surprising because I am always up early in Australia.  I brushed my teeth and had a well needed shower and then headed back to bed to check my laptop.  A worrisome email about how I should be more conscious of my safety put a damper on my mood.  I know parents are supposed to worry so I don’t blame them but this email made me upset.  Just when I thought my morning wouldn’t be happy Tim and Alex came back with three boxes of pizza to celebrate the purchase of their new apartment.  The pizza was exactly what I need and my day was back to being great again, funny how something as simple as pizza can fix my day.

It wasn’t till the afternoon when Niamh and I decided to go walk around the city.  She took me to all the different shopping malls that had the cutest shops in them; I watch her browse through every one of them.  She is such a funny shopper and takes longer in each store than I do!

I offered to make pasta for dinner because I needed to get rid of all my food before I started my journey up to Brisbane with Hari.  Niamh offered to buy the sauce, which was the only thing I needed so I was okay with that.

We both showered and then I headed to the kitchen to cook dinner; I let Niamh stay in the room and get rest.

It was weird in the kitchen because it wasn’t as busy as it usually is.  I got to cooking and by the time Niamh arrived she was amazed at my cooking skills… they are pretty fantastic, just incase you didn’t know.

We sat down for food and I practically inhaled mine and some of Niamh’s pasta as well.  That night Sydney, Niamh and I all stayed in the room and just talked.  We got a new roommate who was just there for a night with his buddies; they all got split in different rooms.  His name is Liam and he was super fun to talk to.  Sydney went out on a goon run and we all drank it when she got back to the room, even Zack showed up for some.

Sydney ended up falling asleep even though it was her idea to get super drunk… we all followed suit a half hour later.

I fortunately though got most of my packing done… my alarm is set for 5:45, Hari will be at the hostel by 7 and my adventure will continue.
